DESCRIPTION:Due to scheduling conflicts\, the 69th NYSV will be unable to attend this event as a unit. Individual members of the 69th NYSV should arrange to fall-in with other units if they desire to attend.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNestled in the apple growing foothills of historic Oak Glen\, Riley’s Farm is a working apple orchard and living history farm featuring pick-your-own fruit\, living history education\, dinner theatre\, group banquet facilities and extended\, historically-themed overnight stays. \n\n\n\nCivil War Reenactment\n\n\n\n“In the beauty of the lilies Christ was born across the sea\,With a glory in His bosom that transfigures you and me.As He died to make men holy\, let us die to make men free\,While God is marching on.” – Julia Ward Howe \n\n\n\nThis event is a great opportunity for families and individuals to experience a a taste of one of the greatest and most terrible conflicts in human history.
